Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1, 1968, to Elvis Presley, the king of rock 'n' roll, and his wife Priscilla. Here the new family posed for a photograph in a room at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Today marks 30 years since Lisa Marie's father passed away at Graceland, the family's Memphis fortress. Lisa Marie inherited her father's eyes, lips and fame and she was a celebrity from the moment she was born.

Priscilla once said Elvis looked 'petrified' the first time he held his daughter, but it didn't take long for him to spoil his new little bundle of joy.

A nine year old Lisa Marie doesn't look too happy in this photo. Her parents Elvis and Priscilla had divorced roughly four years earlier. Though Priscilla took most of the responsibility in raising their daughter, Lisa Marie did spend a lot of time at Graceland with her father. Here she attended the first ever 'Children's Premiere' benefit for the Thalians Community Mental Health Center at Cedars Cinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in March 1977, just months before her father would die in front of her on the bathroom floor.

Here Lisa Marie and her mom were photographed in February of 1986. Lisa Marie had just turned 18. People magazine called Lisa Marie 'the most carefully secluded of all celebrity children.' During her late teens, Lisa Marie went through a drug phase -- abusing sedatives, marijuana and cocaine. She said she gave up the substance abuse after she embraced Scientology.

Body language experts could probably foresee that this relationship was not going to last, and it didn't.

Lisa Marie's marriage to Danny Keough lasted only six years.

Keough would be the first of her many tumultuous love affairs.

In this photo taken in 1992, the Presley girls, Lisa Marie and her mother Priscilla are rocking the leather jackets. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Lisa Marie said her mother kept a close eye on her. 'She watched me closely', said Lisa Marie. 'After I read her book, I realized why. She'd done things that weren't what your average 14-year-old would do. And I was doing the exact same things.' In that same interview, Lisa Marie said she was in a 'destructo mode', and her drug phase lasted for about three years.

Lisa Marie goes from being daughter of a 'King', to marrying the 'King of Pop'. Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson in 1994 in the Dominican Republic in a ceremony not even her mother knew about. Here the two go in for a stage smooch the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Diane Sawyer once asked Lisa Marie if the couple had sex, as their relationship burgeoned as Jackson was facing civil charges of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy. Lisa Marie responded with an enthusiastic, 'Yes, yes, yes.' The two divorced after 21 months on grounds of irreconcilable differences. Lisa Marie's lawyer stated the marriage was 'a mistake, everyone knows.'

The lovefest continued for Lisa Marie. She then went on to date Nicolas Cage. The two were married roughly a year after this picture was taken. Theirs was a firey relationship -- they broke up and got back together several times before marrying in Hawaii. The two filed for divorce 107 days after their wedding ceremony.

Lisa Marie is a close friend of her father's ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson. In 2003, Thompson encouraged her to pursue a music career and she did. Her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was certified gold. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Lisa Marie says of course her name helped her get in the door. 'But you have to hold your own', she said. And to critics who said, 'Her voice belongs in karaoke', Lisa Marie said, 'Who is this &#% critic? He can bite me. I want to hear him sing.' Here Lisa Marie appeared on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' in 2003 in Burbank, Calif.

Presenter Lisa Marie and her daughter Riley Keough pose with designers Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana at The Fashion Group International's 20th Annual Night of Stars Awards Gala in New York City. Riley is reportedly dating Ryan Cabrera. In February 2004, Danielle made her modeling runway debut for designers Dolce & Gabbana in Milan. More recently she has made a video for Dior Perfume and modeled for Victoria's Secret. The mother and daughter duo were fodder for tabloid headlines when Lisa Marie was snapped holding her daughter's hair to facilitate a makeout session.

The former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi wore a pair of Elvis Presley's sunglasses which were given to him as a gift. Koizumi is a huge Elvis buff and he even got to do his Elvis impersonation for Priscilla, Lisa Marie, second from right, and President Bush, right, as he and Bush toured the late singer's home in Memphis, Tenn. in 2006.
